Some books need a soft introduction. Wake Up and Open Your Eyes is not giving that impression, and honestly, good.
A bookstore table should have a little voltage in it. Not everything can be tasteful and hushed. Sometimes you want one title that feels like it might grab a customer by the sleeve and make a case for itself before they fully know why they picked it up.
This looks like that book. Strong title, strong visual identity, strong sense that the reading experience might be unsettling in a way that actually pays off.
I would keep it visible for the horror reader, the curious browser, and the customer who says they want something sharper than the usual safe recommendation.
